We're so proud of our very own Nurse Sue who received the honor of being named the 2023 School Nurse (RN) of the Year in Arkansas! Nurse Sue is so deserving! Here's some information from the Arkansas School Nurses Association about the honor:
It gives me great pleasure to inform you that Sue Wepprecht, RN will be awarded the Arkansas School Nurse Association 2023, School Nurse of the Year Award.
Sue has exhibited excellence in school nursing as recognized by her peers for dedication and service to her students and staff. She is an advocate for her students, supports parents, school staff and has involved the community in her school.
Nurse Sue will be recognized at the Arkansas School Nurses Association State Conference in Conway June 21st 2023. She will also be honored and recognized at the National Association of School Nurses Conference in Chicago IL June 2024. The state organization will pay her conference fee to the National Association of School Nurses Conference.
We would encourage your help in making sure that she is able to attend both conferences to receive her award.
Thank you for your help and support of Arkansas School Nurses.
Sincerely,
Amy Fortner, BSN RN
President of ASNA
