The Mountain Home Junior High Trap Team, consisting of Benson Hopper, Case Hardin, Luke Hopper, Wyatt Bourg, and Austin Still, delivered an impressive performance at this year’s 13th Annual Mallards for Marion Trap Tournament.
The squad finished 4th overall, posting their highest score of the season shooting a 215 out of 250. The tournament, held in Jacksonville, brought together 44 junior squads and 48 senior squads, with a total of 441 shooters competing, making for a highly competitive event.
Individually, Case Hardin had a standout day, shooting a perfect 50 out of 50. His performance earned him a spot in a three-way tie for overall champion. After a seven-round shootout, Hardin emerged as the Grand Champion Tournament Shooter, earning a lifetime hunting and fishing license from Arkansas Game and Fish.
