It is my pleasure to present the Outdoor Adventures Educator of the Year: Freddy Penka. Coach Penka was notified of his receipt of this national award last fall and recently a team came to film him teaching and talked to him about the impacts this class has on students' lives. Please take a moment to watch this video and to reflect on the lives our educators are changing every day.

MAJOR CONGRATULATIONS go to our own Mr. Freddy Penka who was named the this year's Outdoor Adventures Educator of the Year! This is a huge honor, and Mr. Penka is a great representative of our area and all the outdoor adventures we have to offer. He opens our middle school students up to a variety of new outdoor experiences each year, and the folks at the Outdoors Tomorrow Foundation took notice! Congratulations again, Freddy!
