Congratulations to Mrs. Angie Wilhite for being named the Richard Padgett Classified Staff Member of the Year this year at MHPS! Mrs. Angie has the biggest heart and you can always count on her! We LOVE Mrs. Angie!


Congratulations to Mr. Steve Hargett, who will serve as the 2023-2024 MHPS Teacher of the Year! Mr. Hargett is a long-time art teacher at MHPS, and he has a heart for kids, families, his colleagues, and this community. He's also a fantastic family man! We LOVE Mr. Hargett!


Attention Senior Families and Friends: Graduation will be held inside the gymnasium this evening.

Pinkston Middle School was awarded a $500 grant from the AGFC Commissioners on May 18 at ASU-MH. Commissioner Rob Finley presented a AGFC logo plaque to Outdoor Adventures Instructor Freddy Penka to be hung in the OA room.
Students accepting the award were Allison Free, Eva Crownover, Riley Edwards and Aiden Kerr


High School Registration: May 25 -- 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Students in grades 8-11 will not have school this day but will meet with their high school advisors (and guardians) at designated times instead. Advisors will reach out to guardians to set up the meetings.

We’re proud to announce that Laurel Smeltzer, Hannah Dooley and Rylee Roberts, have been selected as NJHS Outstanding Achievement Award recipients. Each will receive $500 in a 529 college savings account to be applied toward their higher education. Recipients are chosen based on their demonstrated work to support the five pillars of NJHS: scholarship, service, leadership, character, and citizenship. Join us in congratulating these ladies and their accomplishments!


This year in Kindergarten STEM we had 68 students complete their K levels in our coding program, Kodable. We also had one student, Reece, go above and beyond by completing Kindergarten through fourth-grade levels in the program! We are so proud of our Kinders and Mrs. Kylie too!



We have the most compassionate, caring school nurses out there! We love them and we appreciate the love and care they give our students! Thank you to Ashley Looney, Breelyn Wehmeyer, Wendy Blount, Ellen Hutchison, Angie Horn, Sue Wepprecht, Donna Blevins, and Bethany Hunt!

March's First Security Leader of the Month was Connor Hough. He is an 8th grade student who was nominated for being an excellent leader in class! Congratulations, Connor!


Rain or Shine! Pinkston Showcase is tonight from 5:30 to 7:00 pm! Tickets for food can be bought at the event. All proceeds go back to the students! Band and Choir performances will be in the cafeteria starting with Choir at 5:30 pm. Band will then perform at 6:00 pm. Lots of awesome student work is going to be displayed. Robotics, EAST, Face painting, mini petting zoo, games, and so much more! Hope to see you there! People may enter through the main entrances by the office or car loading area.


Congratulations to our 2023 Governor's Scholarship Recipients! This is a HUGE Honor! We're so proud of you, Lexi Rauls, Faith Hilvert, Tanner Bohrtz, Jacob Czanstkowski, and Emmanuel Westra!


Seventh grade student Isabella Chance has placed third in the Arkansas Literacy Association's Student Writing Showcase 6th and 7th grade division. Chance has been invited to attend the ALA’s annual awards ceremony this summer. Chance’s English teacher is Mrs. Hamby. Congrats!


Bridges of Mountain Home recently received two grants from the Twin Lakes Community Foundation. One grant -- for $2,000 -- is for a clothing closet at the Nelson-Wilks-Herron campus, and the other is for $500 to purchase student snacks for each counseling office. We're grateful!
