We did it! This was a year full of learning, growing, trials, and successes. We love our Bombers, and while we're excited for summer, we'll be ready for smiling faces on August 12! Have a wonderful, safe break!

Nurse Paige Ledford is leaving behind a legacy that goes far beyond bandages and ice packs at Nelson-Wilks-Herron Elementary. Nurse Paige’s church family, the congregation of Redeemer Lutheran Church, has generously donated funds to support the needs of Nelson-Wilks- Herron students. This donation will enable NWH to maintain its well-stocked clothes closet, provide hygiene products for students and families, and offer various other essential items to those in need. Thanks to the generosity of Redeemer Lutheran Church, NWH will be able to provide for our students and families when the needs arise.

NWH Parents: You might be hearing some big stories this afternoon from your kiddos, and the rumors are TRUE! There was a bear spotted in the mid-town area this afternoon, so we stayed inside for afternoon recess. Thankfully the bear moved on just before school dismissed for the day!
