The Mountain Home Jr. High HOSA Chapter is seeking dynamic and engaging speakers for our upcoming HOSA Health Fair! This annual event brings together students eager to learn about health, wellness, and life skills that will help them grow into well-rounded adults.
While we have a strong focus on healthcare-related topics that address teenage health—such as mental health, fitness, nutrition, and medical careers—we are expanding our scope this year to include broader topics that empower teenagers to succeed in all aspects of life.
We are looking for licensed professionals and experts who can share valuable insights on:
Personal development
Financial literacy
Leadership and goal-setting
Overcoming challenges and resilience
Preparing for life after high school
Requirements:
All speakers must be licensed or certified professionals in the topic they will be presenting.
All speakers must pass the Mountain Home Public Schools (MHPS) volunteer background check before the event.
Event Details:
📅 Date: February 25th
📍 Location: Mountain Home Jr. High
⏱ Presentation Length: 40-45 minutes
To apply or learn more, please contact Jennifer Holmes at jholmes@mhbombers.com.
Deadline for submissions: February 7th.
Join us in inspiring and equipping the next generation with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive!

Mr. and Miss MHJH Representatives have been announced! Congrats!

Congratulations to last month's First Security Leadership Award Recipient: Harrison Baker!
Harrison recently served as chairman of the FFA Conduct of Chapter Meetings Team where his team won 1st place in sub-area and 1st place in District contests. Harrison also qualified for district competition by placing in the top 16 in FFA Knowledge. Harrison went on and placed 2nd at the District level in FFA knowledge with oral questions. Harrison will compete in state competition in Hot Springs in April in both Conduct of Chapter meetings and in FFA knowledge. These 2 contests are Leadership Career Development Events and Harrison has excelled!. Harrison is also a great leader when he is needed to help a classmate or teacher in other areas regardless of if it is in the classroom, shop or livestock facilities both in and outside of class.
