MHPS will release school at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 19 due to Parent-Teacher Conferences. There will be no school on Friday, October 20.

In September, Mrs.Kohler’s and Mrs. Thompson’s classes were honored to have veterinarian and parent Heather Hilvert come talk to our classes about several rescued baby animals and swallowtail caterpillars. She discussed life cycles, animal group behavior, and traits that help the animals survive in their environment. So thankful to have a community partner making our science lesson relevant and providing real life examples for our 3rd grade students!

Unfortunately we have had to cancel tonight's homecoming parade due to inclement weather. We will have a mini-parade on campus for JH and HS students on Friday afternoon before the pep rally.

An area outage (power and phones) is impacting some of our school buildings. Our phones are not currently operational. We do not have a timeline on the restoration of service, but we wanted our families to know what we know.

Bus 52 is running at least 30 minutes late. We had a mechanical issue and had to send out a new bus.

Bus 43 is running about 15 minutes behind.

Tonight's Board of Education Meeting will be live streamed. The Board will receive an update on last Friday's meeting with the state's facilities division regarding the high school campus. Meeting begins at 5:30.

Most of the buses that run up 5N will be delayed by approximately 30 minutes today. There was an accident on the highway, and our buses have been stuck behind it. Thank you for your patience!
