Dan Smakal is a 1990 Mountain Home graduate. He is married to Brandi and they are parents to Dillan and Caroline, both of whom attend Mountain Home Public Schools. Daniel works and owns Electronic Systems Technologies, Inc. in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Dan is a Marine Corps Veteran and attended college at Arkansas Tech University, Holy Cross College, and Louisiana State University. Dan also holds a certification in Security and Fire Systems Engineering Technologies. He currently serves as board vice president and a member of the district's finance committee.

Lisa Petrino House is a long time resident of Mountain Home, over 40 years, graduating from Mountain Home High School in 1986. Lisa has been married for 25 years to Dick House and together they have three boys who all attended Mountain Home Schools. Lisa stays busy working in the family owned business, General Water Conditioning, Mr. Leo's and Main Street Mini Storage. She is an active member of Saint Peter’s Church, Elks Lodge and Women Investing Together Club, Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce. Lisa was elected to the school board in September 2009. She is the current board secretary, a Mentor in the Career Academy at Mountain Home High School, serves on the Business Advisory Committee for the Career Academies, and also serves on the Teacher Advisory Committee.

Jason Schmeski is a 1997 graduate of Mountain Home High School. He received training in Computer Technology and joined the Technology Department of the Mountain Home School District in 2000 serving as a Computer Technician. He worked in the district for six years before leaving to join the family owned business, 62 East Auto Repair. Jason married Samantha Goss (class of 1997) in 2001 and they have one daughter. He was elected in 2008 to the school board and currently serves on the District's Technology Committee.

Barbara Horton

Barbara Horton, retired school teacher, served the district as a teacher for 27 years. She is married to Tommy. Her educational career started in 1981 after graduating from the University Of Arkansas at Monticello. She and her family moved to Mtn. Home in 1985 where their 5 children are now graduates of Mtn. Home District. With her passion for children and retirement, she wanted to continue to be a part of the educational process. She was elected to the Mtn. Home School Board in 2014 and currently serves on the Personnel Policy Committee.

Neal Pendergrass

Neal has lived in this area all his life and has been employed at Baxter Healthcare since 1975. He is currently the injection molding process superintendent in the Mountain Home facility. Neal is a certified plastics master molder and is certified to teach plastic processing. Neal was the volunteer youth director at Riverlake Lanes for 20 years and served on both the local and state USBC youth board of directors. Neal is a senior member of the Society of Plastics Engineers and serves as president of the Arkansas Chapter. He served ten years as the District 9 Justice of the Peace on the Baxter County Quorum Court. Neal has 2 sons. Wesley (class of 2002) is a graduate of the University of Nebraska in Kearney and the University of Minnesota-St. Paul and currently owns Shoeless Music. Turner (class of 2008) is a graduate of Arkansas Tech University in Russellville and is currently an engineer at AWIP in Little Rock. Neal was elected to the board in 1999 and has served as board president, secretary, and vice-president. He currently serves as the board representative on the CPPC. Neal has also served as President of the Arkansas School Boards Association Board of Directors.

Bill Wehmeyer

Bill Wehmeyer is a 1982 Mountain Home graduate. He married Dana, Mountain Home graduate class of 1984 and they have 7 children all who attend or are graduates of Mountain Home Public Schools. Bill works at UPS as well as runs a family business. Mr. Wehmeyer was first elected to the school board in 2007 and served one term. He was re-elected to the board in 2012. He currently serves on the district's PTO committee.
