COVID-19 Positive Case Information
This information is updated on weekdays when school is in session, on weekends if positive cases exist, and weekly/monthly when school is not in session:
Definition of Probable Close Contact - District identified individuals that have likely been within 6 feet for 15 cumulative minutes or longer within a 24-hour period to a person who has tested positive for COVID-19. This person(s) will be expected to self-quarantine immediately for 14 days from the last date of contact with the positive case and await their Close Contact status to be confirmed by ADH Contact Tracing. A quick response to identify and quarantine will slow the possible transmission of the virus.
If both parties (the infected person and the probable close contact) were properly wearing a face covering, the probable close contact will not be required to quarantine unless he/she begins experiencing symptoms. If a probable close contact is fully vaccinated, he/she will not be required to quarantine unless he/she begins experiencing symptoms.
For information about possible early returns, please contact your child's school nurse.
Students and families or employees will be contacted individually if they are classified as probable close contacts.
