Bombers,

Parent-Teacher conferences are in full swing, and we are excited to get to visit with our parents and families in person.

Over the past couple weeks we have begun opening our doors more and more to families. Please be patient with us as we develop new procedures for allowing visitors onto our campuses. There may be times and situations where guidelines are different from building to building, but I am committed to communicating with families about those situations so they have an understanding of what procedures are being followed and why. It will take us a little while to work the kinks out, but our goal is to safely integrate families and visitors back onto our campuses, because their involvement is a critical component of student success.

Now that October is behind us, things steadily speed up until Christmas. You’ll be so surprised how quickly the next three weeks before Thanksgiving break go, and then three weeks later we’ll be on Christmas break. This time of year is a whirlwind, but it’s also filled with lots of good learning and fun.

This week we had 18 positive cases of COVID-19 within the district and 7 probable close contacts were identified.

Please remember that tomorrow is a digital learning day and we will not have classes on campus. Your child’s digital learning day assignments center around career-connected learning and our Pathways model. The assignments have been provided to students, and teachers will be available through email tomorrow to answer any questions your kids might have.

Monday there is no school for students and no digital learning assignment. Enjoy the long weekend together, and we’ll see you on Tuesday morning!

Jake
